Membership Advantages
- Security patrol officers are dedicated to East Lake and only to security patrol members.
- If the security patrol is operating when a member 911 call comes in, the officer will proceed immediately to your house or place of business. This is likely to take no more than 5 minutes. For even residential burglaries, an on-duty APD officer may not arrive at your home for 30 minutes or longer. Security patrol officers are dedicated to East Lake and only to security patrol members; they don't have to respond to calls in other parts of Zone 6 or to non-member calls in East Lake. Member calls are their first and only priority.
- Officers use an updated membership list to identify homes and businesses. Yellow ELSP yard signs can be purchased by members to display.
- During a shift, the officer will drive by your house or business several times. If you're on vacation, the security patrol will have that information and will pay extra attention to your residence.
- Quarterly newsletter delivered to members only.
- Listserv with news and updates for members only.
- Quarterly safety seminars and "Meet the Officer" events.
Dues
- Residents - $200.00 per year, plus a one time fee of $10.00 for the ELSP yard sign.
- Businesses - $300.00 per year, plus a one time fee of $10.00 for the ELSP yard sign.
*Reduced fee based on need is available.
